My journey into the world of film began in 1992, when my pioneering work in lighting and media technology opened doors to the film industry. That same year, as Michael Ballhaus (ASC, BvK) was preparing Outbreak with the legendary Wolfgang Petersen, he reached out to me – an encounter that reinforced my belief in the power of true craftsmanship. From that moment on, I dedicated myself fully to mastering the art of filmmaking, climbing every step: from cameraman to producer, from DoP to director.

With over three decades of experience, relentless creativity, and a deep understanding of storytelling, I have honed my ability to transform real-life moments into compelling cinematic narratives. But I know: I will only be truly successful as a filmmaker if I can ignite the same passion for fiction in my entire crew. When everyone is inspired and ready to give their very best, that’s when a film can become truly extraordinary.
